Apparently Dawn thinks we are washing our dishes wrong. They say that their dish soap was designed to be activated with water so we should be soaking our dishes instead of immediately scrubbing away. I hate soaking a sink full of dishes. It grosses me out. So if you think I’m doing it so wrong, Dawn – come and do my dishes for me instead.

Doctors have finally figured out a guaranteed way to keep you from getting a cold. You just need to get the flu! A new study has found that you can’t get a cold and the flu at the same time. A company has designed a new toilet with a seat that slants forward slightly on a 13-degree slope to prevent workers from taking longer-than-necessary bathroom breaks. It mimics what you do during a squat thrust, so your legs get tired after about five minutes. They also claim it’s good for your posture and puts you in a better position to do your business.

Amazon has added an Alexa feature where it will help you change the subject if a family argument breaks out over the holidays. Just say, “Alexa, change the subject,” and it’ll throw out a new topic like: “Is Die Hard a Christmas movie?” or “What would your superpower be and why?”

According to Amazon’s survey, money is the issue families are most likely to argue about. Some other big argument starters are: what to watch on television or someone being a sore loser after a Christmas game. Arguments are most likely to break out between siblings or with mom.

The winner of The Voice was Team Kelly’s one chair turn Jake Hoot! This is Kelly’s 3rd win in just 4 seasons of coaching.

ON TV:

ABC’s holiday special – Live in Front of a Studio Audience: All in the Family and Good Times. They will recreate holiday episodes from these classic sitcoms. It’ll star Woody Harrelson, Marisa Tomei, Ellie Kemper and Ike Barinholtz who were all in the first All in the Family special last year. They will be joined by new cast members Kevin Bacon, Jesse Eisenberg and Justina Machado.

A new episode of The Mandalorian has dropped 2 days early on Disney +! I got a notification to watch through the credits which I imagine has some sort of tie-in to the new Star Wars movie which opens in theaters tomorrow night!
