So since Mother Nature decided to only give us 2 weeks of Fall this year, here’s a way to adjust your body to the cold winter temps really fast: take more cold showers. The US Army has done lots of studying on how our bodies adapt to the cold and found that cold showers and baths actually help. Start with 15 seconds of cold water, then gradually add 10 more seconds of cold water every day. Eventually your body will get used to the cold. A blast of cold water is also good for your skin and hair. It is dangerous if you have heart problems sooo shower with caution.

Amazon is about to release a Christmas Tree that can be controlled by Alexa. It’s a 7 foot faux Douglas fir that comes pre-lit with LED lights that turn on and off with your voice and can change color on command. You can activate the lights from a couch in another room or even turn them on by schedule. A smart Christmas tree … I don’t hate it.

There’s a Vietnam War action movie in development called “Finding Jack” and it’s going to star James Dean? Yes, THAT James Dean. The one that tragically died in the 50s at the age of 24. They’re going to recreate him using “full body CGI” and archival footage with permission from his family. Another actor will provide his voice.

It was only a matter of time before this started happening. We’ve already seen Hollywood bring actors back from the dead. Star Wars brought back a CGI’d Peter Cushing to play Grand Moff Tarkin in Rogue One. They even tried to bring back a young Carrie Fisher. Is the technology advanced enough to do this with the star of the movie? Even if the tech is there – should Hollywood even be doing this? Lots of celebs say NO. Of course they would – because this means they have to compete for roles with alive and dead actors now!
