All Northern Illinois University full-time undergraduate and graduate students can now easily download and access their student tickets, purchase guest tickets for family and friends and keep up with all Huskie sports.

Admission to all NIU Athletics regular season home events is free for Huskie students, with tickets required for football games at Huskie Stadium, volleyball at the NIU Convocation Center (main arena and Victor E. Court) and basketball at the NIU Convocation Center. To get into these games, students MUST download and have their mobile ticket scanned. Getting tickets is easy and takes just a few minutes. Follow the steps below or click here to see a step by step guide.

All tickets are digital and accessible using your student email and password. To avoid delays getting into the game, download tickets to your mobile device now or before getting to the door or gate, with football and volleyball tickets for every home game this year available now.

“There is nothing like the energy that students bring to the games,” said NIU head football coach Thomas Hammock.  “We need all the Huskies in the stands, at kickoff, cheering on our team. The guys have been working hard and there are only six opportunities to play in front of the home crowd this year. I can’t wait to see everyone in Huskie Stadium on September 9th.”

Claiming your free student tickets is easy and can be done from your computer or desktop OR through the free NIU Huskies mobile app. Search NIU Huskies in the app store and download the app to keep up on all the Huskie teams throughout the year, access rosters, game promotions, in-game stat and score updates and more.

To download your tickets from the app, click on the Tickets section (along the bottom), then select NIU Students. Sign in using your student (zID) email account, click on the sport, find your game or match and click on the plus (+) icon to claim your free ticket.  You can also purchase up to two discounted football guest tickets for your friends and family. Click add to cart. At the checkout screen, claim your tickets OR go back to claim tickets for additional games (continue shopping). Once you have all your tickets, click the check out button. Your tickets will arrive in your email with a link to add the tickets to your phone.

On a desktop computer or tablet or to get to your tickets without using the NIU Huskies app, go to NIUHuskies.com/myhuskies and click “Student Tickets” to sign in and follow the same process, then open the email on your phone .

Click the link in the confirmation email, then select to add tickets to your mobile wallet or phone via screenshot.

The NIU volleyball team is in action at home this weekend in the main arena of the NIU Convocation Center beginning Friday at 6 p.m. when they take on Chicago State. On Saturday, the Huskies play host to Illinois in a marquee matchup beginning at 5 p.m.  Download your tickets NOW and be in the stands to cheer on the Huskies. After this weekend, the team heads out on the road until September 29.

The first chance to cheer on the NIU football team in Huskie Stadium will be on Saturday, Sept. 9 when in-state foe Southern Illinois comes to DeKalb for a 2:30 p.m. game. Download your student tickets, purchase guest tickets and make plans now to attend every game this season.
