What would you guess is the most haunted state in America? I would’ve guessed New York or any one of the East Coast states because we’ve inhabited that area the longest, but apparently it’s down south in Texas.

Texans have reportedly witnessed nearly 6,900 instances of paranormal activities. San Antonio, Texas is considered the most-haunted city, thanks to all the ghost sightings near the Alamo. California is the second most-haunted state, with just over 6,400 ghost-sightings reported in the last fifteen years. Ohio comes in third, with over 2,500 reports. Michigan came in 4th and Illinois came in 5th with 2151 ghost sightings.
