The 8th Annual Hustle for Hearing 5K Run/Walk will take place on Saturday September 21st! The race is hosted by the NIU Student Academy of Audiology! All proceeds and donations of this race go to an organization called Hear the Cheers, which gives hearing aids and assisted listening devices to children in the Chicagoland area who otherwise would not be able to afford them!

The race will take place on Saturday, September 21st 2019 at Hopkins Park in DeKalb, IL.

Check-in begins at 8:15AM and the race will start at 9:00am!

The cost to participate is $30 per person.  Every participant will receive T-shirt on the morning of the race.  Water and snacks will also be provided.

Participants can sign up in advance and also on race day until 8:00am. Please be aware that due to T-shirt ordering constraints, runners that register after September 7th are not guaranteed a T-shirt for the day of the race.

For those who register on September 7th or after: A limited number of t-shirts will be available at the registration table, but we cannot guarantee availability.  Get there early if you’d like one!
