As we come up on Daylight Saving Time this Sunday, there’s a chance it might be the final one EVER.

Both Republicans and Democrats really want to get rid of springing forward and falling back, and there’s now a bipartisan bill in the Senate to do away with it for good.

Daylight Saving Time first became a thing in the United States during World War I and World War II in order to take advantage of longer daylight hours and save energy for the war production…not really anything we have to worry about now-a-days.

So if this becomes a law before November, we’ll just stay on Daylight Saving Time for good . . . no changing back in the fall.
