This new scientific study honestly kind of offends me. They have ranked the cutest dog breeds and my gorgeous dog doesn’t even make the top 10, so obviously it’s not very accurate. 😉

So, what was their method here? They used the golden ratio, which is all about how symmetrical the face is and according to the results, Dalmatians are the most attractive dog.

4. Labrador

5. Basset hound

6. Samoyed

7. Jack Russell

8. Rottweiler

9. St. Bernard

10. Golden retriever

A few more that made the top 20 are pugs, Schnauzers, Siberian huskies, English bulldogs, and bloodhounds.

Now this study has one more declaration to make. They say dogs aren’t the best looking pet out there. Based on the golden ratio…CATS are the cutest! The top five pets are cats, ferrets, rabbits, hamsters, and dogs in fifth place.
