Jon Stewart is ready to make his return to TV. After leaving The Daily Show five years ago, Jon Stewart will now host a new “current affairs” series for Apple’s streaming service, Apple+. The show has already been cleared for “multiple seasons,” and it’ll feature Jon “exploring a host of topics at the center of both the national conversation and his own advocacy work.” Jon spent most of the past five years working to help 9/11 first responders and American wounded veterans. Unlike “The Daily Show”, the new show will feature hour-long episodes, and each one will be a deep-dive into only ONE subject. Each season will be accompanied by a companion podcast. There’s no word on the show’s title, or when it might premiere.
