Trenton DeVito

“Trenton is currently the president and one of the founding members of the Rotaract Club of Sycamore, a non-profit fellowship and service group in Sycamore. Through the past 7 months as president he has successfully presided over a local hygiene drive to raise donated hygiene goods for Dekalb county students in need, presided over the adopt a classroom project where Sycamore students have received over 1200 donated books to keep, presided over the born learning trail installation, a free child development focused trail at North School, successfully implemented the trick or trivia fundraiser and Pumpkin Fest t-shirt sale fundraiser resulting in thousands being donated back to the local community. Trenton is also vendor chairperson for the turning back time car club and has volunteered for the past 10 years to help the show run and donate it’s proceeds to local area non profits. When the school district needed substitute teachers, Trenton stepped up and got his sub license while still a full time student at NIU for business administration and worked to help fill the need for substitute teachers. In his free time he is a beekeeper, donating his honey to anyone who asks, regularly participates in non-profit supporting 5k runs such as the scrub run for Rachel and the St. Jude 5k. Trenton is currently preparing for a 26 mile marathon through St. Jude as a fundraiser for their efforts. Trenton’s primary occupation is as an owner/broker at MyInsuranceGuy in Sycamore.”
