94.9 WDKB presented this week’s #HometownHero award to:

Adam Benn

Adam is pictured on the right. Chris is on the left; he is an employee at Accurate Towing that helped to set up the Halloween drive-by.

Thanks to Robert Dobberstein for nominating Adam!

Robert wrote: Adam is the General Manager at Accurate Towing in Sycamore. He isn’t just there for the money, he is there for the town & the people. When COVID-19 began, Accurate Towing immediately coordinated with police and firemen to perform free drive-by birthday parades with their tow trucks to brighten children’s spirits. They also did parades for graduations, cancer survivors, assisted living facilities, and more. Accurate Towing participated in over 200 parades all across Kane & DeKalb Counties. They also helped to serve over 100 drive-by meals to truckers in Campton Hills as a thank you for keeping America running through the pandemic. Then for Halloween, Adam once again went above and beyond in bringing joy to the community. Adam and his crew decorated the tow yard and performed a live animated haunted drive-by for the town to enjoy for free! This isn’t just a paycheck for them. It’s more than just a job. Adam and his team really care and go the distance to do whatever is necessary to help everyone they can.
