HGTV has named Honey Hill Orchard in Waterman as one of the top 10 apple picking destinations in the United States! The list is based on YELP reviews and Honey Hill Orchard came in at number 7.
HGTV wrote of Honey Hill Orchard: “A bakery, shop and the option of grabbing a coffee, hot chocolate or cider makes this apple-picking orchard a great place to linger. Apple cider donuts and pumpkin donuts are also on offer.”
The orchard was the only top 10 apple picking destination in the Midwest. Eight are located on the East Coast and one is located in California.
Although apple picking season is almost over, the orchard has a few apple varieties available for picking, including Golden Delicious. This weekend will be the orchard’s Pumpkin Harvest Weekend.
Honey Hill Orchard is located at 11783 Waterman Road in Waterman. They are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. until Halloween, Oct. 31.
