**UPDATE: This event has been cancelled.**

This year’s G-K Feed the Need fundraising event will be held in-person on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 5 to 9 pm at The Warehouse on Park (662 Park Avenue, Genoa). Good music, good food, good cause is again the theme of the event, centering around musical entertainment by local band, Six-Pack. Six-Pack describes themselves as “an energetic ton of fun cover band that kicks off a party wherever we go!! We’ll have you singing and dancing with all the rock hits you love!”

New this year are celebrity bartenders—Genoa Mayor Jonathon Brust, Manny Pena (owner American Family Insurance) and Genoa Police Chief Bob Smith—who will be behind the house bar serving up favorite adult beverages including the ever-popular Whiskey Slushie. Food items will also be available for purchase from Sib’s Corner Grill (Genoa) and All the Smoke Barbeque (Sycamore).

Admission is $10/person plus Eventbrite fee and can be purchased here or $15/person at the gate.

Each month, the food pantry at the Genoa Hub is open to Genoa-Kingston residents the first and third Monday mornings and the second and fourth Tuesday evenings. On average, currently about 50 food insecure families are served at the Genoa Hub each week where the food pantry is open 4 times each month.
