Leah with Tails Humane Society wasn’t able to join us for a Furry Friday chat today because she is headed to Mississippi for another rescue mission! So instead, she passed some notes along to me and I crawled around the floor trying to feature MY dog while I share with you some shelter updates! Enjoy 🤪

Highlights:
– Tails needs donations of blankets, towels, and pet food! Specifically wet/dry kitten food
– They need fosters. As they bring more dogs up north, they need families willing to help care for them
– They need monetary donations to provide basic pet care + medical + pregnancy care!
– Registration opens soon for a Virtual Mutt Strut 5k Run/Walkathon. You just have to log 5k from Sep 6 – Sep 13 🏃🏻‍♀️ registration is $30 for humans $5 for pets! Shirt & bandana included!
– Due to coronavirus related health concerns, they will not be participating in Clear the Shelter this year
– They will be at DeKalb Family Fun Fest on Tuesday July 21st from 4 to 6
