Did you know DeKalb is home to one of the top 20 architectural treasures in the State of Illinois? Come learn about the amazing history of the historic Egyptian Theatre in Downtown DeKalb on Monday, February 17th at 5pm in Barsema Hall Rm. 300. No RSVP or ticket is required for this event and it is open to the public.

Join us as we discuss the rich history of the theatre as well as monumental moments and events that have shaped the present and future of the Egyptian Theatre. We will also be discussing our “Expanding Beyond 90 Years” capital campaign that is raising funds for our first ever physical expansion of the building amongst many other amazing upgrades. Development Assistant and NIU IGNITE! Program member Shawn O’Neill will be sharing all the amazing insights on this jewel of DeKalb County.
