The 6 time Grammy award winning electronic music duo Daft Punk has called it quits after 28 years.

Daft Punk, with their trademark robot outfits, gave us mega dance hits like “Around The World” “One More Time” “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” along with amazing collabs with people like Pharrel Williams on “Get Lucky” and The Weeknd on “I Feel It Coming” and “Starboy.”

They made the announcement yesterday in an eight-minute video, where one of the guys literally blew up the other one. The other guy then walks off into the sunset as the dates 1993 to 2021 appear on the screen.

The French duo hasn’t commented beyond that. Their publicist did confirm the news, but didn’t give a reason for the breakup.
