World Elder Abuse Awareness Walk – Join Us in Planting the Seeds of Change!
FREE EVENT!
When: Friday, June 20th, 10 am – 1 pm
Where: Northwestern Medicine Health and Wellness Center
What to know:
June is Elder Abuse Awareness Month, and Elder Care Services invites the community to join us for A World Elder Abuse Awareness Walk—a powerful and unifying event to shed light on a growing and often hidden crisis.
Each year, June 15th marks World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. Elder abuse remains an urgent social, moral, and legal issue—often unseen and underreported. This annual walk helps bring visibility to the issue and serves as a call to action.
Join us as we raise awareness about the impact of abuse on older adults and people with disabilities, and learn how together, we can be the seeds of change in abuse prevention.
