The Women of Today’s Manufacturing, (WOTM), has named Jaclyn Kolodziej, a Rockford Chamber “40 Leaders under 40” recipient, as board President, and Bethany Mead, Community Outreach Coordinator, CEANCI, Vice President. Both Jaclyn and Bethany would enjoy meeting you at the annual scholarship dinner and silent auction Thursday, February 27, 5:00 pm at Franchesco’s Ristorante.

“I am excited to represent an amazing organization. Our strategic mission is to support the advancement and creation of career pathways in manufacturing. I encourage people to attend the upcoming fundraising event to directly support the scholarship fund” says Kolodziej, who also serves as Director of Business Development for Midwest Manufactured, a regional media outlet.

Mead states, “I am honored to be the VP of WOTM and am excited to align WOTM’s mission with CEANCI’s strategic plan in exposing students (non-traditional included), to the manufacturing pathway. The WOTM scholarships paired with regional initiatives will enable area high school students to pursue careers in a traditional career technical education, (CTE),  program.

The fundraiser will feature a keynote presentation from Emma Cahill, whose inspirational story of “overcoming a traumatic injury” will give great insight into the mindset needed to be brave and get accomplish tasks that don’t seem possible.

Tickets are $65 each.
