As more people are getting vaccinated and things return back to normal, the Rockford City Council has announced the return of the Rockford City Market for the 2021 summer season.

Rockford City Market will kick off on May 21st and will run through the summer until September 24th. During the 2020 season, this event was heavily restricted but now we could see those restrictions loosen.

Masks will be required and socially distancing still in place but we can look forward to one thing… live music!

“Given that we continue to do that and continue to stay safe, it opens up a lot of opportunities and it lifts the spirit of Rockford up,” Logemann said. “I look forward to it this summer.”
