Coronavirus Fallout:

Black Widow has been postponed. It was supposed to premiere on May 1st, but even Marvel is not immune to the fallout of this virus.

Warner Bros. also shut down production of The Matrix 4. The film was set to resume shooting in Berlin this week. It’s unknown when production will begin again, or if the hiatus will affect the July, 2021 release date.

Production of three Avatar sequels in New Zealand has also been put on hold. Which means these LONG awaited sequels might be delayed AGAIN. It’s literally been over 10 years. Maybe we’re just not meant to get more Avatar.

Coronavirus Good News:

Yesterday, I mentioned how fragrance companies are making hand sanitizer to give to hospitals and now distilleries are starting to do the same thing. Old Fourth Distillery in Atlanta started giving out a solution made from 95 percent ethanol and aloe vera gel on Thursday. Moonrise Distillery in Clayton, Georgia, is making sanitizer with natural aloe vera and botanical gin. And Durham Distillery in North Carolina is donating their own solution to hospitality workers to wipe down high-traffic areas.

There are a lot of celebrities doing cool things to help you cope with coronavirus anxiety:

Lizzo released a 30 minute meditation video in which she plays the flute and speaks positivity at you while surrounded by crystals.

Josh Gad is reading bedtime stories to kids.

Chris Martin, Pink, John Legend are streaming free live concerts

Miley Cyrus is hosting work out sessions via Instagram live

The major tech and social media platforms -Facebook, Reddit, YouTube, Twitter, and LinkedIn- have also issued an unprecedented joint statement about their efforts to fight misinformation about coronavirus.

In other NON coronavirus news:

Tom Brady is leaving the Patriots for the Bucs. He has reportedly signed a new deal with Tampa Bay, which is supposedly worth $30 million a year.

Actor Lyle Waggoner has died after his battle with cancer. He was 84-year-old and best known for his appearances on The Carol Burnett Show and as Steve Trevor opposite of Lynda Carter in the Wonder Woman series.
