State Rep. Jeff Keicher, R-Sycamore, is partnering with State Sen. Dave Syverson, R-Rockford, to sponsor a “Valentines for Seniors” card drive to benefit local seniors living in residential care facilities now through February 10, 2022.

“Seniors are incredibly important members of our community struggling with social isolation since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. We need your help by writing cards to seniors living in assisted living and long-term care facilities in our district to let them know that they are cared for and appreciated on this holiday,” Syverson and Keicher said.

Cards can be mailed to or dropped off at any of the following locations:

There is no particular format to follow for writing a Valentine card or letter. Interested residents are encouraged to be creative. These letters can include festive or decorated handwritten cards, encouraging and uplifting notes, drawings, etc.
