The Union Pacific Railroad has rescheduled the temporary closure of six crossings in  DeKalb to the weekend and has shortened the closure period. 

The closure of the crossings at 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th and 10th Street will now begin the  morning of Sunday, May 26. It is anticipated the maintenance work at the crossings will  be completed the same day. 

The crossing at Lincoln Highway and Fourth Street will remain open during the work. While the City is making the community aware of the closures, this is not a municipal  project. The City has no authority over railroad maintenance projects.
