Have you ever looked up to the sky expecting to see stars, but only to be surprised by seeing a UFO?

It has happened to me.

Many years ago I used to work at a bar on the south suburbs of Chicago. (Tinley Park to be exact.) It was a busy night and all of the customers started going outside, one by one, until the entire bar was empty. I was curious, so I went outside, looked up, and was greeted by an ‘L’ shaped formation of red lights. They continued to circle around each other and disappeared as if someone flipped a switch.

I’ll admit, it was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen. Years later, I found out it was one of the most well documented UFO sightings in all of Illinois. The History Channel also had a program about it, too! The Tinley Park Lights… Google it, you’ll see.

I’ll be honest, I have no idea how I stumbled upon this website, nuforc.org, but it is the National UFO Reporting Center. I immediately started searching through the many sightings and saw one from March 6, 2021.

It happened at 10:50 p.m. and lasted all of 15 minutes. It was a strange diamond shaped light in the sky. The report goes as follows:

My boyfriend and I headed to bed around 10:50 pm he went to bed first I fed my son then was going into bed when I noticed out our window facing east a bright light that was changing colors it had to of been in Genoa Illinois. I sat there for a few minutes watching it unsure if it was a helicopter but it wasn’t moving and it also wouldn’t have been so bright so I told my boyfriend to look out the window to see he also was clueless in what we are seeing. A few more minutes go by and it just disappeared. Very strange this is the 2nd time I’ve seen this but the first time someone else seen it with me so this time I’m reporting it.

WEIRD! This sounds very familiar to the UFO sighting I saw many, many moons ago.

The person who reported the sighting claims they have seen it before, yet is now reporting it for the first time. Did you happen to see the lights over Kingston in March?
