It has been a CRAZY 24 hours for coronavirus related news.

The World Health Organization officially classified the COVID-19 coronavirus as a pandemic.

President Trump announced that he would be suspending travel to and from Europe for the next 30 days, starting Friday. The ban will apply only to foreign nationals and not to American citizens who had been screened before entering the country.

The NCAA is barring fan attendance for its March Madness tournament.

The NBA suspended its season until further notice after a player for the Utah Jazz tested positive for coronavirus.

Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson also revealed that they have tested positive while in Australia.

NIU announced some changes in response to the virus as well. They are extending Spring Break through the 22nd and will switch to modified online classes until at least April 6th.

In the midst of all this coronavirus drama, Sarah Palin was unveiled to be the bear on the “The Masked Singer” last night and then she performed “Baby Got Back”.

WHAT. A. DAY!

I came across a great thread on Twitter last night from a registered nurse explaining what to do if you do get the coronavirus. She lists items you SHOULD be buying (Tylenol, Advil, Mucinex, Kleenex, … not an abundance of TP), how to manage your symptoms, how to make a plan with your doctor and when you should go to the ER.

Also, check out one of the first mobile testing labs in the country. It’s in Denver and it’s literally a line of cars waiting for drive-up testing for the coronavirus.
