Colgate is going green and getting ready to launch the first recyclable toothpaste tube. Most toothpaste tubes are made from a mix of plastic and aluminum, which are very difficult to separate for recycling. This new ‘Smile for Good’ toothpaste tube is made from high density polyethylene (HDPE) — the same plastic used for making milk jugs. It took them five years to develop the new tube. Why so long? They had to figure out how to make this type of plastic strong enough to squeeze the toothpaste out.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has officially passed the $1 billion mark at the global box office. Very pleased, Disney is. Fans though are still pretty divided on their feelings about the movie. The ones that didn’t enjoy it do seem to be loving the supposedly leaked script from the movie’s previous director Colin Trevorrow. Before Colin parted ways with the project he had completed a screenplay draft about a week before Carrie Fischer passed away. According to the leak, his movie would’ve been titled Star Wars Ep 9: Duel of the Fates. There are lots of differences, most notably Palpatine was not brought back from the dead. Instead, Kylo Ren comes in contact with the ancient Sith who taught Palpatine and there could’ve been a cool hallucination battle between Kylo and Vader. As for the mystery of Rey’s parents…yea that would’ve been a different answer in this version of the movie. Ultimately, Colin and Lucasfilm parted ways due to creative differences and J.J. Abrams was brought on to close out the trilogy.
