Volleyball
Wednesday, Nov. 16: at Western Michigan, 6 p.m. ET – ESPN3 | Live Stats

The Huskies put a bow on the regular season this Wednesday night as the squad heads to Kalamazoo for a rematch with Western Michigan. The two teams previously met at the beginning of the season in a five-set thriller where NIU wrangled the Broncos (27-25, 21-25, 25-14, 19-25, 15-9) at VEC. Katie Jablonski (17), Brianna Scuric (10), Sammi Lockwood (11), Charli Atiemo (11) and Emily Dykes (19) all reached double-digit kills. Last weekend, the Huskies beat Eastern Michigan twice, catapulting themselves into the sixth spot in the league’s standings, and keeping NIU’s postseason goals alive. However, NIU still needs to beat Western Michigan to guarantee their seeding.

Wrestling
Sunday, Nov. 20: at Boilermaker Duals, 10 a.m. ET

After two dominating performances against Lindenwood and Harper College last Saturday, NIU looks to keep its momentum rolling into this Sunday’s Boilermaker Duals. At the Huskie Duals, 33rd ranked Blake West got the energy going early, pinning Austin Kegley of Lindenwood at 2:03 and Chris Kish of Harper College at 2:21 to put NIU up early. The Huskies eventually beat Lindenwood 44-6 and Harper College 52-6. This Sunday, NIU will take on Cleveland State, UT-Chattanooga, and Purdue.
