Sycamore Public Library Hosts Family History Drop-In for National Genealogy Day

Community members interested in exploring their roots are invited to the Sycamore Public Library for a Family History Drop-In event on Saturday, March 14 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.

In celebration of National Genealogy Day, participants can work one-on-one with library staff to begin or continue researching their family history. Attendees will learn how to use online genealogy tools, explore research strategies, and troubleshoot common challenges encountered when tracing family records.

Whether just getting started or looking to expand existing research, this open-house style program offers personalized guidance and access to helpful library resources.

The program is open to adults and available on a drop-in basis during scheduled hours.
