Celebrate fall in full color at Sycamore Public Library’s annual Pumpkin Celebration on Thursday, October 23, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The free, family-friendly event welcomes community members of all ages to enjoy an evening of music, games, and autumn fun — all just steps from downtown’s trick-or-treat festivities.

Guests can look forward to live music from DJ Irish Southside, an inflatable bounce house and slide, and classic fall treats including popcorn and lemonade generously provided by Raising Cane’s. Library staff and volunteers will be on hand with seasonal crafts and activities designed for both kids and adults to enjoy together.

“This event brings the community together in the heart of Sycamore,” said Jill Carter, Assistant Director at Sycamore Public Library. “Whether you stop by after trick-or-treating or make it your main destination, it’s a great way to celebrate the season, connect with neighbors, and see what the library has to offer.”

The Pumpkin Celebration is sponsored by the Friends of the Sycamore Library, whose generous support helps make events like this possible.

No registration is required — everyone is welcome. Attendees are encouraged to dress for the weather and come ready to celebrate Sycamore’s favorite fall traditions.
