Sycamore Library Hosts Holiday Open House and Winter Reading Challenge Kickoff
Sycamore Library is excited to ring in the season with two fantastic events to celebrate the holidays and encourage winter reading!
Holiday Open House
On Friday, December 20, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, join us for a festive evening featuring live music by HarmonEssence, holiday treats, and a chance to take photos with Santa! This family-friendly event is the perfect way to kick off your holiday celebrations with the community.
Winter Reading Challenge Kickoff: “Are You Yeti to Read?”
The library is also launching its Winter Reading Challenge, running from December 20 to February 28. This year’s theme, “Are You Yeti to Read?”, invites readers of all ages to embark on a reading adventure. Sign up, track your reading, and complete fun activities to earn prizes. Whether you’re curling up with a good book or exploring new genres, the Winter Reading Challenge is the perfect way to keep cozy and engaged during the colder months.
All events are free and open to the public, with no registration required unless noted otherwise.
