Did you hear about the shipment of Space Wine that we got this week? A SpaceX capsule splashed down in the Gulf of Mexico on Wednesday with 12 bottles of wine on board. They’d been on the Space Station for about a year.

Now experts get to taste the wine to see how microgravity and radiation affect the aging process. It’s part of a study to figure out how to grow food on space flights, or on Mars. The researchers say that vines are crucial to feeding the human population and that quote, “This could be a game-changer in unlocking the agriculture of tomorrow.”

Think about that the next time you’re enjoying a glass of wine!
