The Northern Illinois University football team will take on Tulsa on Saturday, September 23 at 11 a.m. (CT) with the game set for a national television broadcast on CBS Sports Network.

Season tickets, as well as mini-plans and single game tickets for the Tulsa game and all remaining Huskie home dates are on sale now at NIUHuskies.com/myhuskies or by calling 815-753-PACK (7225). Season tickets remain the lowest priced option to see all five remaining home games, while two-game mini-plans including the 116th Homecoming game versus Ohio on October 14 plus any other game on the NIU schedule for just $55.

The September 23 game is part of the Family Weekend celebration at NIU along with Scouts Day and Pup Club Day and is part of the College Football Playoff’s annual celebration of educators, the “Extra Yard for Teachers.”

NIU and Tulsa meet for just the second time on September 23 with the Golden Hurricane earning a 38-35 win over NIU a year ago in Oklahoma.

The Huskies will play on CBS Sports Network for the 18th time in school history and have had at least one game broadcast on the network in seven of the last eight seasons, including the Vanderbilt and Miami contests a year ago.

This week, NIU makes its fifth trip all-time, and third in the last seven seasons, to take on Nebraska in Lincoln. The game kicks off at 6 p.m. (CT) on FS1.
