A huge rainbow now adorns the walls of both Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb and Northwestern Medicine Valley West Hospital in Sandwich.

The rainbow is constructed from individual hearts that have the names and roles of staff members at the hospitals. Some also include motivational sayings, like: “Tutto andra’ bene,” which means “everything will turn out okay.” The rainbows shine bright for our community and remind people that this COVID-19 storm shall too pass.
