Lorenzo Leti Messina and Federico Scotuzzi of the Northern Illinois University men’s tennis team have been named the Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week, the league announced today.

Leti Messina and Scotuzzi clinched the doubles point in a 4-0 win over Marquette on Sunday. On Saturday, the duo was ahead 5-3 over No. 21 Wisconsin before the match was suspended once the Badgers secured the point.

Leti Messina and Scotuzzi are 3-0 in doubles this season. NIU has received Player of the Week honors four times this season.
