NIU FOOTBALL 2024 SEASON TICKETS ON SALE FEBRUARY 5

Season ticket renewals for the 2024 Northern Illinois University six-game home football schedule go on sale on Monday, February 5th with new season tickets available beginning February 26 and there has never been a better time to be a Huskie football season ticket member.

From watching NIU games from the best seats for the greatest value, to invitations to special events with the Huskie coaches and players, to opportunities to earn priority points to purchase away game tickets, the benefits of season ticket membership continue to grow. In 2024, each season ticket account holder also will receive a season parking pass for the NIU Convocation Center lots at no additional charge.

“Each year, we evaluate and search for ways to make the season ticket member experience more valuable,” said NIU Vice President and Director of Athletics Sean T. Frazier. “Last year we introduced the Build Your Membership Plan which provided the ability to choose the game day elements most important to each individual from parking to hospitality to payment plans. We appreciate the dedication of our loyal season ticket and Huskie Athletic Fund members and look forward to seeing everyone in Huskie Stadium all season long.”

With a highly-anticipated road game at Notre Dame on the 2024 schedule, access to the tickets for the September 7 game in South Bend will be determined through the Huskie Athletic Fund priority points system and reserved for season ticket and Huskie Athletic Fund members. Priority point rank will be calculated based first on annual giving level and then by points rank within each level. NIU Athletics will send more information about away game tickets later this spring.

Again in 2024, season ticket members will be able to customize their game day experience by choosing a payment plan for nine, six or three months (depending on date of purchase). Automatic renewals for those season ticket members who selected that option, will take place beginning March 1 and make supporting the Huskies even easier. Returning season ticket members from 2023 will receive email communication from the Huskie Athletic Fund next week regarding their 2024 season tickets. The Huskie Athletic Fund Guide, including an expanded benefits chart based on giving level, will be available online next week and mailed later this month.

Football season ticket prices for the Huskies’ six 2024 home games begin at as little as $105 for a general admission ticket on Huskie Stadium’s East Side. That calculates to less than $12 a month through the nine-month plan or just three monthly payments of $35 each. Reserved seats on the West Side are $152 in sections A, B or F, or $170 in sections C,D and E. Stretched over nine months, that is less than $17 or $19 per month, respectively.  Senior citizens (65+), NIU faculty and staff, young alumni (within 5 years of graduation) and DeKalb County residents are eligible to purchase select season tickets at discounted prices.

Discounts are also available on tickets located in sections A, B and F on the West Side and in section G on the East Side with the purchase of the four or more season tickets. With the Huskie 4 Pack, pay just $110 each for West Side reserved tickets in sections A, B or F or $96 each for four general admission season tickets in section G on the East Side.

The Huskies open the 2024 season at home against in-state foe Western Illinois (August 31) and will also face UMass in Huskie Stadium in non-conference action.  Dates of NIU’s home Mid-American Conference games versus Toledo, Central Michigan, Akron and Buffalo will be announced in late February.

The Huskies are coming off a 21-19 Camellia Bowl victory over Arkansas State in Montgomery, Alabama and enter the 2024 campaign on a three-game winning streak. NIU is one of the top 35 Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) teams this century in wins.
