Northern Illinois University Athletics announced a partnership with Athletic Solutions to be the official online retailer of NIU’s new apparel store, Victor E Threads. The new online shop, NIUHuskies.com/VictorEThreads, will offer the best selection of Huskie gear, including official Adidas lines.

To celebrate the opening of the online shop, customers will receive a 10 percent discount on purchases through Black Friday, November 29, by using code: BLACKFRIDAY10.

The Victor E Threads online store offers more than 150 different styles including headwear, tees, fleece, jerseys and accessories from various brands, including Adidas, Columbia and Gildan, featuring the traditional NIU Huskies logo, the NIU wordmark logo and the retro fighting Huskie logo. Sport specific products are also available.

Student-athlete specific NIL products will also be available. Student-athletes can opt-in to create their own store front, and fans will be able to browse and purchase these items and directly support their favorite Huskie athletes. With every purchase, NIU student-athletes receive direct payments from the sale of their merchandise.

Locally owned and operated out of Kansas City, Kan., Athletic Solutions opened its online store in 2022 as a way for moms, dads, aunts and uncles to support their favorite student athletes.

Victor E Threads opened this fall with two locations on campus in DeKalb. The NIU Convocation Center store is open during all Convo events, while the NIU Recreation Center location, has regular daily hours Monday-Thursday from 2-8 p.m., Friday from 4-6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
