Per QORRN Media Release:

QORRN invites members of the LGBTQ+ communities who live or spend a lot of time in DeKalb County to take our community survey, available at QORRN.com/surveys! Share your experiences and help us identify what resources exist in DeKalb and what resources are lacking. We’ll use this information to focus our efforts in the future. We’ll also publish a report on the survey results to share with the DeKalb community, including area nonprofits, schools, and government agencies, like the DeKalb County Community Mental Health Board.

There isn’t just one Queer experience. The LGBTQ+ umbrella covers many individuals across race, ethnicity, gender-identity, sexuality, living situation, geography, age, and more! We know that people who live at the intersection of multiple underserved or marginalized communities often face compounded hurdles and have unique, valuable insights. That’s why we are especially interested in hearing from LGBTQ+ folks who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. By sharing your stories and desires with us, you’ll contribute to a more complete picture of Queer life in DeKalb, and guide our work moving forward.

  • The survey is for members of the LGBTQ+ communities of any age who either live in DeKalb County or spend a lot of time here
  • It is online and anonymous
  • It includes questions about community resources and what your life is like, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic
  • It should take about 15 minutes to complete
  • La encuesta también está disponible en español
  • The survey will close at 11:59pm on Monday, March 22, 2021
