New television show, Restaurant Recovery, is helping family-owned, independent restaurants get back on their feet.

Long before my radio career, I worked in many restaurants. I’ve been a waitress, hostess, events manager and more. I always say everyone should work in the restaurant industry at some point in their lives as it teaches you so much about compassion, hospitality and human nature in general.

It’s no surprise that the last year or so during the current pandemic, restaurants have suffered, BIG TIME. Mom and Pops restaurants were hit hardest and a new television show is hoping to help restaurants get back on their feet and become even stronger.

I am absolutely a sucker for reality television and this is right up my alley. Todd Graves, founder of Raising Cane’s, created Restaurant Recovery and even filmed an episode in nearby Chicago at the iconic Mr. Beef On Orleans.
