Japan has come up with a solution for sporting events that will be played in stadiums without fans. Behold the Remote Cheerer!

Yamaha is testing an app that would broadcast sports fans’ cheers, boos & chants to the stadium from home. They say they hope the “system will encourage players on the field by making them feel like their fans and supporters are nearby.” Will there be a swear button? Because it’s not a sporting event if there isn’t a drunk man swearing.
