“Loot for Leaders” Online Raffle to support DeKalb Chamber Leadership Academy
An online raffle featuring merchandise and certificates from local businesses and organizations will benefit the DeKalb Chamber Leadership Academy endowment fund.
“Loot for Leaders” features four “loot crates” with local merchandise and certificates. The themes are “Take a Spin Through Ag & Local History,” “Cozy School Spirit,” “Home & Play,” and “A Night Out and a Night In.”
Tickets can be purchased for any crate(s) at DeKalb.org for $5 each. Winners will be drawn at the DeKalb Chamber Leadership Academy Graduation Ceremony at 2 pm on June 11 at the Egyptian Theatre (need not be present to win). Raffle ticket sales close on June 8.
Baskets have been curated by the 2024-2025 members of the DeKalb Chamber Leadership Academy and feature gift certificates, swag, merchandise and more from the organizations and companies that the students represent: Resource Bank, DeKalb County Community Mental Health Board, Kunes Auto Group, Toyota of DeKalb, Barb City Manor, DeKalb Community Schools, Voluntary Action Center, DeKalb County United, inkFli Printing, J.F. Glidden Homestead & Historical Center, NIU Huskie Athletics, Family Service Agency of DeKalb County, Habitat for Humanity of DeKalb County, Heartland Bank & Trust, Opportunity House, Sundog, Manny Peña Agency/American Family Insurance, Old National Bank, DeKalb County Community Foundation, Syngenta, Housing Authority of the County of DeKalb, Compass, and DeKalb County Economic Development Corporation.
