The Lions Of Illinois Foundation (based in DeKalb) will be holding their annual ROAR-IN’ Car Show at the Cortland Lions Club,  70 S. Llanos St., beginning at 10:00 a.m. at

After the Car Show join us for our annual Sock Hop as we dance into the night to the songs that shaped Rock and Roll.

Free admission includes a dance contest, free dance lessons and prizes for ‘Best Dressed’ in 50’s attire. A beer garden and 1950’s diner will also be available. DJ Pete with DJ Enterprises will be playing all of your favorite oldies.

Our Branch Club, the DeKalb County Lions Motorcycle Club, will also be hosting their ‘Cruise for Companions’ motorcycle run benefitting T.A.I.L.S. Humane society at 9:00 a.m.
