A Cup in Hand Kickball Tournament on May 17 will benefit the DeKalb Chamber Leadership Academy endowment fund.

“Cup-In-Hand Kickball: Retro Showdown” will be held on Saturday, May 17 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 511 Russell Road. Participants and spectators are encouraged to attend dressed in throwback attire by dressing in a decade theme. Registration is now open.

Teams can consist of 8-10 people, ages 18 years and older. Cost to register is $125 per team. Teams will play double-elimination with a guarantee of two games played. Tournament play will begin at 10:30 am and end once all games have concluded. There are prizes and bragging rights for Tournament Champion and Best-Dressed team. Proceeds from this event support scholarships for future DeKalb Leadership Academy students.

The public is invited to attend and support this event. There will be concessions, a 50/50 raffle, and family activities.
