Iowa has become the first state to permanently legalize to-go cocktails. Most states in the country allowed for alcohol to-go as a way to help restaurants and bars stay afloat during the coronavirus crisis. And this week, Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds officially signed a bill into law making to-go cocktails permanent. Ohio, New York and Texas are also considering doing the same thing.

Great for the hospitality business, bad for DUIs. Don’t drink and drive, please.
