The Inside Huskie Basketball Radio Show, featuring Northern Illinois University head coaches Rashon Burno and Lisa Carlsen, and presented by Twisted Tea, returns to the airwaves this Thursday, January 16th at a new location, the Huskie Den inside the Holmes Student Center on the NIU campus.

Join the NIU men’s and women’s basketball head coaches, student-athletes from each team and host Andy Garcia every Thursday between January 16th and March 6th from 6-7 p.m. at the Huskie Den, located on the ground floor of the Holmes Student Center. The coaches will preview their upcoming games, take a look back at the latest games and give fans a heads up on what to look forward to at the Convocation Center, from promotions to special events and more.

Fans can tune in and listen to the show live on NIU flagship station 94-9 WDKB in DeKalb, and on the NIU Huskies app on iOs and Android. The show also streams live on 949wdkb.com.

Located in the heart of the NIU campus and conveniently connected to The Grill at Huskie Den, the Huskie Den Bowling and Entertainment Center has been serving NIU and the surrounding community as the go-to destination for a variety of recreational activities since 1967. Remodeled in 2020, the Huskie Den includes a bar serving beer, wine and hard seltzer, while the Grill offers an extensive menu including burgers, chicken, salads and more.

Fans attending the Inside Huskie Basketball Radio Show also can stop by and pick up Starbucks or Qdoba in the Holmes Student Center to enjoy while watching the show.

Parking is available for free (no permit required) in the Visitor Lot on Carroll Avenue, a short walk across the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Commons to the Holmes Student Center, or park across Lucinda Avenue from the Holmes Student Center behind and adjacent to the Peters Campus Life Building (Lot 5).
