“Some teenagers vandalized my dad’s memorial statue and it broke into 4 pieces. I posted on our Sycamore Facebook page to see if anyone saw anything to help identify the vandals. I was heartbroken and beside myself that my dad’s memorial statue that we have had for 25 years was destroyed. Lee reached out to me saying he would love to help restore the statue. He generously restored the statue at no cost. Lee is a Hometown Hero for the kindness of his heart and time to restore my dad’s memorial statue.”
