There are several reports that a Harry Potter live-action TV series is in the works for HBO Max, because of course it is! That’s literally all the info I got. Apparently a bunch of execs are meeting with writers to explore their options. There are no directors, actors, or writers officially attached to the project at this point.

Will it be a prequel like Fantastic Beasts? Will it be set in the future like the Cursed Child stage play is? Who knows!

I’ll have my Hogwarts wand and robe ready regardless.
