The 78th Annual Golden Globes went down Sunday night! Here are the movies and TV shows that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association thinks you should be watching:

For the movies: Best Drama went to Nomadland, Best Comedy went to Borat, Best Animated Feature went to Soul

For the TV shows: Best Drama series went to The Crown, Best Comedy series went to Schitt’s Creek, Best Miniseries went to The Queen’s Gambit

Some other notable moments from the show include some major technical difficulties during the first acceptance speech of the night. Daniel Kaluuya came on via Zoom after winning Best Supporting Actor for Judas and the Black Mesiah…but it was super glitchy and there was no audio. Classic Zoom meeting problem, right? They eventually sorted it out and let him have his moment.

Jason Sudeikis also had an amusing moment. Since the show was mostly taking place virtually, he didn’t feel the need to get dressed up, or he just had no expectation of winning. But he did win the Best Actor award for Ted Lasso…and gave his speech wearing a tie-dye hoodie! That speech also gave the internet a new gif to play around with as fellow nominee Don Cheadle motioned for Jason to wrap it up because he was rambling.

Also, in a pretty emotional moment, Chadwick Boseman won Best Actor for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. His wife accepted the award and gave a speech that brought me to tears.

Oh and here’s Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s opening monologue which wasn’t their best, but still amusing given that they were co-hosting from opposite sides of the country!

And here’s what the celebs got in place of those expensive award show swag bags this year:
