DeKalb Park District Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The Hopkins Shelter House in DeKalb is the place to be on Saturday April 20th for the DeKalb Park District’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt! The hunt starts at 10:45am sharp and is perfect for kids 2-10 years old. Hunt areas are designated in specific age areas.  A donation to Safe Passage Domestic Violence Shelter is greatly appreciated. The Spartan Food Pantry is open every other Wednesday from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at West Elementary School (even during Winter/Summer break)! The food pantry is open to families of Sycamore School District students only and Photo ID is required. They are a choice pantry, meaning families can choose what they would like, how much they would like, and can omit certain items.

Join Safe Passage in the movement to end sexual assault! We will stand together with survivors and community members to say sexual violence is not tolerated in our county. Together, we will march downtown DeKalb and let our voices be heard. Immediately following, survivors will have a chance to share their stories. Light refreshments will be served. Signs are available to use at the event, but you can also bring your own.
