The 10th annual Royal Children’s Ball benefiting the DeKalb County Youth Service Bureau is Friday, March 13th from 6 to 9 PM at NIU’s Castle, Altgeld Hall. Music, magic, balloons, games, crafts, tasty treats, and a host of Fairy Tale Royalty will be on hand to entertain the kids. There are raffle items for the adults as well as the kids.
Tickets are $15 each, $13 for purchases of 6 or more, and can be purchased at www.dcysb.com or by calling 815-748-2010.

After careful consideration, we have made the decision to POSTPONE the Royal Children’s Ball. It is our commitment to ensure the safety and well-being of our attendees, partners (NIU), vendors, volunteers and staff during this unprecedented time regarding the Coronavirus (CoVID 19). This decision was not made lightly and we have weighed all of the pros and cons. While the Royal Children’s Ball is YSB’s biggest annual fundraiser, we believe it is of the upmost importance to comply with this public health crisis.
The Royal Children’s Ball is now scheduled for SATURDAY MAY 16th from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. at Altgeld Hall on the NIU Campus. People who have purchased tickets will be able to use them for the new date. We are also reserving Saturday June 6th from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. at Altgeld Hall on the NIU Campus as a secondary postponement date.
