Enter a World of Reading at the library on Saturday April 1st! You will be immersed in a variety of worlds, each featuring engaging activities for you to enjoy. From 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. you may explore six worlds featuring farms, art, technology, gardening, sports, and health and wellness. Roam the building to explore what each world has to offer.

At 1:00 p.m. enjoy the Children’s Community Theatre as they perform scenes from the play Descendants in the Yusunas Meeting Room.

Visit a petting zoo from Friendly Farms and chat with Cowgirl Jessica from Parties with Character. Meet and greet a variety of athletes in Sport World.  Can you recognize the jerseys?  Paint your own Olympic rings. Take a selfie of yourself as the face of the Mona Lisa in Art World and get a (stenciled) tattoo. Test out robots and drones in Tech World, meet rabbits in Garden World, and make a soothing lavender sachet in Health and Wellness World.

Stop by the welcome table first to get a bag for crafts, coloring pages, and other trinkets you may obtain as you wander through the worlds of reading.
