Winter Family Play Day

The Sled Hill will be closed to the public from 2-4pm during this event.

It’s not too cold to play outside!

The Free Spirit Siberian Rescue Sled Dog team returns once again to celebrate winter at Legacy Campus. Free, but advance registration for a time slot is required for all attending.

Time Slots: 2-2:30 (dogs run at 2:10), 2:45-3:15 (dogs run at 2:55), 3:30-4 (dogs run at 3:40). To reserve your spot, please stop by or call the Service Desk at 815-895-3365.

Start the event with a sled dog demo by Free Spirit Siberian Rescue Sled Demo Team, 10 minutes after your session start time. Then, stick around for more winter activities with the Sycamore Library and NIU Outdoor Adventures. Want to try out the Northwestern Medicine Sled Hill? We will have sleds to borrow following the dog sled demo. We ask all attendees to maintain a distance of six feet from others, not in their household. Please bring a mask and wear it if you need to enter the Community Center, or when you cannot distance yourself 6 feet from others.
