Summer is here and it is time to get outside and explore! Worms, ladybugs, plants, and vegetables are all part of summer memories. Join the DeKalb County History Center this summer as they take a closer look at these topics through stories, songs, and crafts.
The season starts on Thursday, June 13 with “Lovely Ladybugs,” and continues with “Interesting Insects” on June 20, “A Plant is made of Parts” on July 11, “Beautiful Butterflies” on July 18, and the season wraps up with “Vegetables from the Garden” on August 8. The program is for 3-6 year olds (siblings are welcome), and it starts at 10:00.
Registration is recommended (for one or all programs). Call 815-895-5762 or email info@dekalbcounthistory.org.
The program is held at the DeKalb County History Center, 1730 N. Main Street.
